I wanted to see the Cherry Blossoms on full bloom exactly on my birthday. I did a lot of research and saw that they were in full bloom in Yamagata region.

It wasn't easy to find a photographer in Japan in Yamagata, especially since I am not a local. I am happy to find lovegraph where there were a few photographers available in the area we were going.

It was amazing!! I contacted our photographer, Ms. Yurin a few months before and she responded right away. I told her I will officially make a reservation once I see the Cherry Blossom forecasts and confirm it will be in full bloom on my birthday. Afterwards, I booked Ms. Yurin and we were in constant communication for weeks before the photoshoot! Not only did we talk about the shoot, but she also told us recommendations to go, busses to take in the area, she even helped us reserve an amazing Sukiyaki lunch! The location was in Tsuruoka, and Ms. Yurin would give me updates on the cherry blossoms when my birthday was getting nearer! When the photoshoot day happened, we were brought to this amazing area with rows of cherry blossom trees! It didn't have a lot of people and was very peaceful so we were able to take a lot of photos without any worry! There was a beautiful scenery of mountains and lakes and it helped made the scene so dreamy! Ms. Yurin was so nice and kind all throughout! Even though we were foreigners and couldn't speak Japanese, Ms. Yurin tried her best to communicate with us both with google translate and body language! We were so happy with the photoshoot! It made my birthday so special! Even though Tsuruoka was a bit far, we are so happy to shoot in this amazing location with few people and beautiful landscape! Ms. Yurin really did her research with finding the perfect spot!

What an amazing birthday shoot! And the photos turned out to be exceptional!
